employer JOB POSTING INFORMATION As the HSSE specialist on the Project Leadership Team (PLT), the Project HSSE Manager will assist and encourage the PLT to uphold the highest possible HSSE performance standards. The Project HSSE Manager will lead the development and delivery of the HSSE Execution Plan requirements in a consistent and effective manner to achieve outstanding HSSE performance. It is a requirement to play a key role in taking responsibility for all aspects of health, environmental and safety during the design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of the project. -------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: - A minimum of a
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. - Extensive HSE experience in a leadership position in the commercial/facility construction industry. - Experience with process or building safety management on large construction projects. - A track record of personal safety leadership and accountability for integrity management, and a history of actively influencing the safe operations of 3rd party contractors. - This job requires access to secure areas regulated by the Maritime Transportation Security Act. To be able to complete the assigned duties of this job, the selected candidate will be required to have a TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identification Credential). This requires a TSA security threat assessment, including clearance through various federal and state criminal databases.
