JOB POSTING INFORMATION JOB DESCRIPTION: This role is also responsible for evaluating process safety hazards in the refinery; implementing Process Engineering design standards and other related Group ETPs intended to mitigate process safety risks; improving capability in the refinery to manage and mitigate process safety risks, including work process improvements, and fostering improvement in process safety knowledge. These responsibilities
require coordination between the PSM, Process
Engineering, Project Engineering, Major Projects, and
Reliability Engineering groups. Interaction with 3rd
Party groups and auditors will be expected as the
position develops. o 5+ years experience in process safety or technical support of operations in a petroleum or chemical processing facility. o Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with teams.o Ability to handle many details with accuracy. o Ability to facilitate cross functional teams.o Ability to influence across all levels of the organization. o Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules. o Ability to function independently and take initiative. This location requires all employees to have access to secure areas regulated by the Maritime Transportation Security Act. Therefore, a TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) is required on the first day of employment.
