Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Public Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the required no-credit course for freshmen; chairing an on-going Task Force exploring alternative delivery methods for the required freshmen course: developing and implementing subject specific sessions for faculty, staff, students and visitors; assessing and evaluating the IS program; expanding the library's outreach to faculty, staff and students; working with library faculty to promote the use of library materials and programs; some reference and collection development responsibilities. Requirements: The candidate must have an ALA accredited MLS, excellent oral and written English, demonstrated experience in instruction (one-on-one and classroom) in an academic library environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience in course management. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently is also necessary. Additional Information: Position is open until filled. Review of applications begins immediately.
